Goody Bridge cottage
Picturesque stone-built Goody Bridge Cottage is a delightful detached Lakeland hideaway – perfect for a couple at any time of the year, which dates from the 18th Century. It is documented that Wordsworth bought his milk there.
The cottage retains the character feel of a traditional Lakeland cottage and the accommodation is all on one level. The entrance door opens directly into the kitchen which leads through into the spacious central sitting room with beamed ceiling and has a smart TV, living flame gas fire. Wi-Fi broadband access available throughout the property. Double bedroom with king-sized bed. Showeroom, basin and wc.
Furnishings throughout are comfortable and tastefully in-keeping with the cottage. The cosy atmosphere makes it ideal for any time of the year with fitted carpets throughout and gas central heating.
We currently allow a maximum of 2 dogs per property at an additional cost per dog. Please enter the quantity when making your booking.
There is access to a shared utility room adjacent to the farm. This is furnished with a washer and dryer.
There are shared gardens to the side of the cottage to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or relax on quieter days. The cottage is in an enviable position in peaceful surroundings.
